Doomsday warnings
* According to human inference: In the universe of all things, there will be life and death.
Therefore, the end of the world will definitely come to this world sooner or later.
The clock of scientists in Chicago thinks that humanity is closer to the end of the world than ever before, for 3 reasons:
– Superpowers with nuclear weapons at hand are in harsh dispute with each other, where no one will give in to anyone, and are capable of causing destructive wars.
– Unpredictable climate changes are causing frequent devastating storms and floods with high intensity. Melted permafrost has the ability to release many harmful viruses, which have never been known before, but are difficult for us to handle in time.
– High technology beyond control, such as Chat GPT, goes into many fields, causing uncertainties that people can hardly control.
In general, human status and its living environment are based on too many fragile factors to survive for a long time and sustainably.
* According to the Bible: “Heaven and earth will pass away” (Mt 24, 35).
The Bible warns and reminds us many times about that day. Many evidences come true, making us feel that the end of the world is not far away. Jesus tells us: before that day comes,
– Wars and fighting happen everywhere:
Before that day, “You will hear of wars and reports of wars; … Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom” (Mt 24, 6-7).
Conflicts, antagonistic interests, ambitions to dominate, divisions or alliances, and struggles will burst out among countries. Pots of gunpowder and modern war fire with extensive destruction will spread across continents from Europe to Asia such as between Russia and Ukraine, China and Taiwan, North Korea and South Korea … and in the Middle East, which will lead to the world war to destroy the humanity at any time.
– Epidemic, hunger:
The Lord also warned: “There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place; and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky” (Lk 21, 11).
Drought and famine in Africa, terrible wildfires in Australia and Hawaii. In 2024, the largest double devastating 17-graded storm of Yagy in China and Vietnam, and super 270 kph typhoon Milton in Florida, destroyed everything on their way. Floods and landslides buried the whole villages. Natural disasters are terrible.
We are still shocked by the small virus covid 19, which has caused the world economy to go crazy and killed more than 15 million people. If we hadn’t made efforts to find a vaccine, we would not have known what the fate of humanity would be today.
– Morality and ethics are upside down:
In today’s blind atheist movement of worshiping deviant science, those who talk about moral and divine values are considered crazy and backward. Democracy, liberation, and human rights are the top priorities. Personal interests are prioritized above all, regardless of morality and tradition. They consider it anti-evolution and binding not to remove the constraints of the law as guilty complex.
They do not pay attention to the Church’s teachings on dignity, justice, responsibility and self-control, which they believe to restrain the momentum of the times and to hinder personal enjoyment and freedom, as promoted by the secret societies of Illuminati and Satanism.
– Activities of the antichrist.
The Book of Revelation gives many events about the end of the world.
One of the disasters near the end of the world is the appearance of the antichrist. “You heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. Thus we know this is the last hour” (1 Jn 2, 18).
Who is the antichrist? He is “who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship, so as to seat himself in the temple of God, claiming that he is a god” (2 Tx 2, 2-4).
Today, indeed, many false christs have appeared “performing signs and wonders so great as to deceive even the elect” (Mt 24, 24).
“For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires … They will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths” (2 Ti 4, 3-4).
They use beautiful words that at first seem reasonable to everyone, such as human rights, progress, and liberation, but in reality they are the insatiable satisfaction of instinctive desires, trampling on human dignity, and mass murder.
For example, in order to protect women’s rights, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 73 million fetuses are killed every year worldwide.
Think about it, nature is much wiser than us: children born as boys or girls are all in the secret of Creation, so the number of men and women is always in balance for the race survival. Countries do not respect the laws of nature: limit reproduction, only one child per family, respect men over women, and encounter disasters, which must be corrected immediately,
In countries such as Japan, South Korea, China.., women are afraid to give birth, refuse motherhood. After only a few generations, the population is aging and the nation degenerates with a risk of being destroyed.
Homo movement. If everyone approves homo movement, the day will come when the human race disappear because of no reproduction.
Human arrogance and technology
Humans are arrogant, considering themselves above all, above heaven and earth, and exalting themselves as kings of the universe.
The Bible tells us that humans built the Tower of Babel to satisfy their arrogance, “Let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top reaching into the heavens. Let us make a name for ourselves, so that we may not be scattered over the whole earth” (Gen 11, 4).
But the Lord said, “If now, while they are one people and all have the same language, they have started to do this, nothing they presume to do will be out of their reach. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that no one will understand the speech of another” (Gen 11, 6-7).
And so they abandoned the project, symbolizing arrogance and pride due to the language barrier between them.
Today, the internet has connected everyone on earth and with Google Translate, language barriers are no longer a problem.
Human-created AI technology, Chat GPT, goes into many fields and changes everything.
With the industrial revolution, machines replace human work a thousand times more effectively.
Up to now, with the high-tech revolution, machines have replaced the mind. They calculate and think for us, accurately, quickly and millions of times more efficiently than us. Computers that perform billions of calculations in one second have defeated the smartest chess mind. Robots that know how to improve themselves, train themselves, learn and recently American researchers have successfully built a ZENO R25 robot with signs of emotions.
Then it is not known where machines will take us with computer applications in quantum science.
Human limitless creation makes them feel like they are the masters of everything, in control of everything. They consider themselves supermen, even God.
In the context of the coming doomsday, which we have just preliminarily analyzed above, life comes and goes meaninglessly.
People need saving grace
No! God didn’t do that. He created all kinds of creatures and found them “very good” (Gen 1, 31) so that they may enjoy happiness, not be banished. “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live” (Ez 33, 11).
He has given humans the most precious things of understanding and freedom, His own image. “The man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil!” (Gen 3, 22)
Although man has sinned against Him, “When the LORD saw how great the wickedness of human beings was on earth, and how every desire that their heart conceived was always nothing but evil, the LORD regretted making human beings on the earth, and his heart was grieved” (Gen 6, 5-6).
But God is very benevolent, He intends to save people by giving them salvation, to reestablish harmony in the relationship between humans who are creatures and their Creator.
God has programmed a solution that we call “the history of saving grace” in human history.
How did the history of saving grace happen?
According to the plan, God sent His own only Son to the world as a minor, willing to die to atone for the sins of mankind. “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life” (Jn 3, 16).
